Henry Fork Trail (King's Peak)

Difficulty:Difficult
Conditions:Good
Great hike! Plan on a 3-day excursion. The hike from the trailhead to the campsites (suitable campsites are located all around Dollar Lake and Henry Lake)is just over 8 miles, and the elevation gain is approximately 1,500 feet. King's Peak is roughly 6-7 miles away from the campsite (via Gunsight Pass), and the elevation gain is much more challenging at approximately 3,000 feet.

Conditions:Muddy, Buggy
Lost some parts of the trail due to snow, but we battled thru it. Hiking poles were an essential...crampons would have been nice. Weather was nice, but still had bugs at top even with the snow.
